Job Description:
The Human Resources Director/Manager will provide strategic leadership for the HR function by leading projects and processes that ensure organizational effectiveness and high-quality customer responsiveness. This is reflected by the following key strategic accountabilities and organizational commitments: Provide HR consultation to Executive Committee members and senior business leaders around HR solutions to business issues Proactively initiate dialog with management providing counsel and advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps. Manage complex employee relation challenges and concerns that could result in legal ramifications or organization exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice Support deployment of Blackbaud HR programs, including performance management, pay administration and implementation, headcount planning/reporting, retention, career development, employee relations and organization design initiatives, etc.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 8 years HR Generalist/Manager experience Demonstrated history of driving change to influence business outcomes Strong critical and conceptual thinking and a results-oriented approach to business Thorough understanding and application of HR principles, concepts, practices and standards Excellent project management skills along with negotiation and mediation skills Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Experience in high-tech/software industry a plus Bachelors degree required MBA or Masters in HR related studies a plus
